Introduction

The purpose of this site is to encourage you to live deliberately—to think critically about the big questions of life, and to live in a way that reflects the truth you discover. What are these big questions? They are the same ones that thoughtful people have wrestled with throughout history—questions about the nature of the world, the meaning of our lives, and the existence of God.

We believe that life is most enriched when lived deliberately under the Lordship of Christ, and we aim to provide resources to help you do just that. As you explore the content we’ve curated, we invite you to reflect on the insights of both classical thinkers and the timeless truths of Scripture.

Consider Socrates, who famously said, "The unexamined life is not worth living" (Plato, Apology 38a). Or the Apostle Paul, who exhorted the Corinthians:

"Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!"
(2 Corinthians 13:5, ESV)

And supremely, listen to the words of Jesus Christ:

"For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?"
(Mark 8:36, ESV)

Our hope is that as you reflect on these questions, you will be moved to live deliberately—not merely in philosophical contemplation, but in joyful submission to the One who made you and redeems you for His glory.
